What is my understanding of a Career?

My understanding of a career is finding a stable job and a healthy living style. Careers can come in many different pathways.

What is your understanding of Kotahitanga?

My understanding of kotahitanga is being able to contibribute as a team and you should feel comfortable within your team.

What is your understanding of Tino Rangatiratanga?

To me this means self determination; being able to focus on myself, my well being and my education that will help me to further my skills in obtaining a career. 

How do these concepts relate to the topics?

Kotahitanga and Tino Rangatiratanga concepts relate to me within my future planning by way of a career pathway to skills i will learn throughout my future. Enabling me to pursue more job opportunities. 

Write about what I have learnt during this topic?

I have learnt self determination and being able to source information vc on different job possibilities. I have also learnt how to respond in order to convey my thoughts, wants and needs for a job interview; also learnt how to become an Entrepreneur.

Tikanga-A-iwi

 In tikanga-A-iwi our topic for this term was focused around leadership and government.The first thing we had to do was research a NZ leader that inspires you and the person i chose was Dame Cindy Kiro here is what I wrote about her this will show what i researched about her. here.the second thing we did in tikanga a iwi was to look up what the government we needed to find out what they do and how they work and what i found out was the government are people that make and administer rules that happen around the community.I also found out that the government have the most important job that anybody could have also I think.A thing I found about what Maori did was that Maori travelled here on more then 50+ waka/canoes and when they landed in Aotearoa they sighed the treaty of waitangi witch was in 1940 it was sighed by many Maori chiefs the Maori.Here is some more of what i wrote about the government and the Maori arriving to aotearoa. here.that is my explanation of what we did for tikanga-a-iwi.
