my holidays

In the holidays I went to Auckland by bus I went on a big green  Decker bus to be with my mum an dad we went to  rainbows end  and night rids and after that we went to   McDonald's for dinner. For  the rest of the week we just went out for dinner and went to see my  cousins on Friday we went to the sky tower and timezone in sky city then we went out for dinner to  Nan do's  on Sunday night I went back home by bus For the rest of the holiday I went to kapa haka. 

Ski camp

Last week on the 9th of September the year 7&8 went on ski camp to Mt Ruapehu. We stayed at this nice lodge  in Ohakuni it had  a rustic feel to it.The next day we all got up and had breakfast for a long day after breakfast we all got on the bus and drove to Mt Ruapehu.  We had lessons before we skid  we all learnt heaps then we started to ski and it was bright beautiful and  fun here are some photos.

 Last week we went to the snow and again  next week the year 7&8 are going again for camp.

On Monday Kawakawa Primary School did the fun run down at the Kawakawa United Rugby club here is a video.👍👍😁

on Friday Te roe pow manawa  went to motatau marae  for a wanaga we sleeted their for 2 nights it was so cool we had cool parents come in and help with cooking cleaning and more it was so helpful we thank them a lot for cooking nice food for us well we were training we all went to bed at 10 pm.  😁😊👏      

last week Te Reo Pow Manawa won 200kg of kumara from More Fm they are a radio team that play on the radio every morning. Kawakawa Primary have been selling the kumara for the past few days.😃😃

       
For the past few weeks room 5 and 6 have been learning in our workshop so I have been working on protect e-Ako and number of the day  it was  so fun doing all of that.But so much hard work.👍👍

On the weekend I went to my netball game and we got 9 to 24 so we did not win but we did try our beast to try win.When I finished I went home to have shower and then went to my wananga at school we started with a top drop then we got in our work we learnt a song about sir heck busby it was about all the things he has done like he travelled from  New Zealand to Rarotonga then we had lunch then we got back in to work we learnt the actions the song. we all went to bed at 11 pm and woke up at 6.45 am  and then we had a shower then breakfast.    

                                           

    In the holidays I went to kapahaka for Te  roupou manawa o kawakawa we were their for a week.On the first day of kapahaka we performed at oterea for one of our teachers we all carpooled  there it was  relay sad most people were crying  😢. as the week went on we performed again  at oterea for ngapuhi it was so cool.on week 2 of the holidays I went to Auckland to see my mum and dad I spent a lot of time with my parents we went to see the lion king it was so  cool after that we went to the pools it was sisters first time going in the deep end.

On the weekend me and my papa went and got a tuna it was very  big and long. But as we were going home the tuna fell off the back of the truck   but me and my papa did-int know until we got home.So when I get  home from school I will go and set a net out for Wednesday.here are some photos of the tuna I want to catch.

             This week room 5&6 went to the

Waitangi  treaty grounds.  and we learnt about captain cook. 

Abel Tasman - mapped new Zealand and captain Cook arrived to New Zealand after Abel Tasman 

we also learnt how to use this game scratch we had to make this cat move  with these battens 

then we learnt how to use a phone we took   photos  of imported staff and guns.
 so that was   room 5&6  trip to Waitangi hope you enjoyed it bye .  

what I did in the weekend so on Saturday I stayed home with my papa and my nee sis we just watch TV. Then we went to the shop with my cuisine when he got home.Then the next day we all went to the market in whangarei after that we went to see my other naan.

   So for the the last few weeks. room 6  have been doing the rocket challenge and on Tuesday We did rocket lunching.We were only allowed to pup it to 60 PS. so we did a test and we did the right amount of water  and it went so high we did int  even see it go up.Then we did one with know water  and it  did int go as high.So then we did one more with heaps of water and went in a loop.So that is my blog hope you liked it bye bye.

So on Friday at 6 pm  Kawakawa Primary School went and did a disco for Te  Rau Pou Manawa o Kawakawa  for their Kapa Haka  in Waikato . Also the disco was so fun  were selling ice block,and some hot food.

on Friday room 5 and 6 did assembly for week 2 we did  carpool karaoke and best of all the bloopers to share and lots more it was so fun.

this weekend i went to my first netball game  in kerikeri and we won   then i went to MacDonald  in kerikeri and the next day i went to my unteys to see her new baby its was a boy then i went home helped my nana then on Monday i went to school and did my blog.
